Rome fined €6 million for breach of settlement agreement

Roma have been fined €6 million for exceeding their financial targets, while Inter and Milan have walked away from a settlement agreement.
UEFA has issued an update on clubs complying with the settlement agreement. These are the goals set out at the first meeting of the club's financial management body. Roma was fined €2 million for slightly overshooting its mid-year target for fiscal 2025. Additionally, an additional fine of €4 million was imposed during 2025 as the squad's cost-to-revenue ratio exceeded 70%. Milan and Inter, on the other hand, have escaped their settlement agreement by complying with financial regulations for the 2025/26 season. They achieved their targets based on the reporting periods of 2023, 2024 and 2025. In addition, foreign clubs Monaco, Besiktas, Paris Saint-Germain, Antwerp and Trabzonspor are also in the same situation.
